Uses of MARIGOLD

Do u know how the name comes to this flower.mari comes from mother MARY. So every march 25th as mother mary feast these flowers are used for this festival.That day Gabrieal came to mary mother and said jesus will be coming on this earth. So as a symbol they plant these seeds and waited for germination.

Uses of these plants are countless.IN all the ways leaves and flowers are used.

• Marigold is a good antiseptic, if u rub this flower on the wound made by any insect it relieves from pain and swelling.

• For any wounds, if u grind these leaves or flowers and tie up at the injured place, gives quick relief.

• It also works good for itching problems and removes the spots formed due to wounds and al

carotenoid are abundant in Orange marigold and leaf marigold flowers.Lutein present in carotenoid helps in preventing cataract to eyes. As a reason in so many countries, they use these flower leaves as a tea.

• These flower leaves are boiled and taken as tea  for so many diseases as a medicine. In chattisgadh they use this mainly for liver, stomach,intestine problems. Also helpful for kidney functioning and blood purification.

• For bold head, the oil extracted from these flowers are used.

• Seeing different colors of these flowers is very good to health, so it regulates our bp levels correctly as it shows effects on our pulse levels.

• Essentials extracted from these flowers are used in many cosmetics and medicinal use.

• Smell coming out while  boiling these flowers or leaves is very good for our blood nerves,they expand. And also insects wont enter into house for this smell.
